Got questions?
How much time do I need each week?
Each week there will be 20-30 minutes of teaching videos for you to watch.
There will also be 20-40 minutes worth of audio practices to try at home at least once (though more often is great!).
The Zoom calls are 1 hour 15 minutes apart from the last week when it is 1 hour 45 minutes.
So you’ll need around 2 and a half hours each week and a little longer on the last week.
What technology will I need?
We will send you password-protected webpage with all the resources each week. As long as you have a device which lets you watch video and listen to audio, you’ll be able to access it.
For the calls, we’ll use Zoom. Although it’s accessible from a web browser, you would ideally download the app to your phone, tablet or computer. Find out more here.
What if I am in an extremely difficult situation?
There are many benefits from practising mindfulness, connecting more closely with our hearts potential and to engage in a deeper listening process.
It is also true that these practices often kick start a process of self-awareness, openness and receptivity of heart and mind, which can begin to reveal challenging mental and emotional realities that lie dormant within us. Things that we have buried or pushed down can come up to the surface can bring a non-anticipated level of intensity to our life.
If you find yourself in the midst of a very challenging or distressing situation this may not be the right time for you to start a process which can bring further intensify or challenge to your present situation.
The practice offered here can be complimentary but are not a substitute for appropriate support and guidance from a professional healthcare practitioner or a counsellor, therapist or psychotherapist, or even a holistic view of our wellbeing which includes our life circumstances, support network and our experience of trauma amongst other things.
